Veterans Community Project
Monthly Commissary
Want to make an immediate impact? Donations of non-perishable food and hygiene items can be dropped off directly at Veterans Community Project (VCP).
On the fourth Wednesday of each month, from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Veterans are welcome at the VCP Outreach Center to shop for food and hygiene items (Veteran ID required). Veterans come not only for essential services and urgent needs, but also for camaraderie and connection with fellow Veterans. Plus, lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., giving everyone a chance to gather, share a meal, and build community.
These everyday essentials help ensure our veterans have what they need to stay nourished, healthy, and supported. Every can of food, every bar of soap, every small gift adds up to dignity and hope for those whoβve served.

Bravo Bags make an immediate impact on the lives of Veterans living on the streets. Each bag is packed with practical essentials selected by the recipients. Items that support basic needs, restore dignity, and offer comfort to those facing hardship. These kits are intentionally designed for fast distribution during outreach missions, crisis response, and community events.
Every Bravo Bag includes:
- Life Straw (1,000 uses)
- Hygiene essentials (soap, wipes, deodorant, toothbrush/toothpaste)
- Basic first-aid items
- Wet weather poncho
- Emergency Mylar blanket
- Hand warmers (seasonal)
- Bible verse card and encouragement message
- Resource card with local support contacts
Each item plays a small but meaningful role in keeping someone fed, clean, warm, and connected to help. When a person receives a Bravo Bag, theyβre not just getting supplies; theyβre getting acknowledgment, respect, and a reminder that their community cares.
