Every day in Kansas City, veterans and vulnerable individuals fall through the cracks, not because services don’t exist, but because they can’t access them in time.

38Bravo exists to close that gap.

We provide immediate, real-time response for high-risk individuals who are unable to navigate traditional systems due to medical needs, transportation barriers, lack of resources, or complex circumstances. Our team operates after-hours, on weekends, and in the field, meeting people where they are and stabilizing them long enough to connect them with long-term care.

What We Do

• Targeted Transportation – Getting individuals to shelters, hospitals, and housing appointments when they otherwise couldn’t get there
• Rapid Stabilization – Providing emergency shelter, food, and critical supplies during the first 24–72 hours
• Relationship Re-Engagement – Building trust and maintaining contact through repeated outreach to ensure individuals stay engaged
• Denied Area Outreach – Reaching individuals in locations and situations where traditional services cannot operate
• Welfare Checks – Responding to urgent situations identified by law enforcement, community partners, or concerned citizens

How It Works

We act as the bridge between first contact and long-term care, coordinating with trusted community partners and other local organizations to ensure individuals successfully transition into housing, medical care, and support programs.

The first 72 hours are critical. Without immediate intervention, many individuals disengage, experience medical decline, or are lost before they ever reach available services.
